Boogie Woogie Beat

One of the greatest phenomena in the
history of blues and jazz undoubtedly is the
boogie woogie, also called honky tonk,
named for the bars where this kind of music
was being played.
The name "boogie woogie" comes from
a 1928 recording by Clarence Pinetop Smith,
called "Pinetop's Boogie Woogie."
Since its origin in the early 1920's, this
special piano style of blues has never
lost its fascination. Having said that...
let's just have some fun!

Note worthy notes and other nonsense.

Pianos are such noble instruments....

They're either upright or grand.

Never trust a trumpeter...

He's a toot-timer.

If you chose to dance with a bear,
don't stop when you get tired."

Timing has a lot to do with the
 outcome of a rain dance."

There will be a rain dance Friday night,
 weather permitting.

Anything too stupid to be said... is usually sung.
