Christmas Time

Christmas dreams fill us all
Our eyes are sparking bright
Smiles and laughter fill the air
As we wait for Christmas night.

Twinkling stars light our way
Reflected on white snow
Singing carols happily
As through the town we go.

Gifts are wrapped so prettily
To sit beneath the tree
Except for just one little space
Right in front where all can see.

A tiny straw filled manger
lit by one small light
The reason that we celebrate
For He was born this night.

Silver Bells

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling like Christmas
Children laughing, people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

Strings of street lights
Even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
This is Santa's big scene
And above all the bustle you hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day
