There's breaking news in heaven tonight
And we know you had to go
 A story so big they needed you
But we wish it wasn't so.

I'm sure they'll have a news desk
Waiting just for you
An angel staff to direct
As you do the evening news.

Here on earth you'll be remembered
In a very special way
A man of love, truth and honesty
We'll all see you again one day.

no time to say goodbye, you were
gone before we knew it, and only
God knows why.

Not, How Did He Die, But How Did He Live?

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.

We'll miss you Tim!
