John was not just a country boy, 
or always on a Rocky Mountain High. 
He was not just a singer, or entertainer.
 No, he was so much more than that.
He lived his life pursuing Peace on planet Earth.
He lived his life to fight hunger on planet Earth.
He lived his life to saving habitat and species.

He was a gift to all who lived.
He gave up so much in these pursuits.
He gave us his beautiful voice.
He gave us his beautiful songs.
He left us with love in our hearts.
He left us much too soon.
