On Mars?
The
newsman read the latest news
They found water up on Mars!
Heaven help us all I said,
What else is in those stars?
So
off to bed I wandered
And I drifted off to sleep.
My mind was filled with neon stars
And water clear and deep.
Glowing
creatures large and small
And music filled the air
I strolled around this magic place
Without a single care.
When
I awoke to sunlight
And remembered all those stars
I smiled a little secret smile
For I know....there's life on Mars!
