Lord Forgive Us

Oh Lord, forgive us
For our ever erring way
Help us find the path again
We never meant to stray

We've come to you so many times
These last few months in prayer
Anguish filled each one of us
Some doubted you were there.

But as I look around today
I know you've reached a hand
And touched each heavy, burdened heart
Throughout our saddened land.

So forgive us Lord for doubting you
We let fear get in the way
So blinded were we by pain and tears
We let doubt slip in that day.

So forgive us Lord for our faults
And for doubting your pure love
We've found our way once again
With Your guidance from above.
